Our privacy promise, in plain English
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Aldea Press runs this website at aldeapress.com. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- If you join our newsletter: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name.
- If you just visit: our web host keeps standard technical logs (like the date and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising trackers on this site.
How we store it
The sign-up form is handled by Netlify Forms, part of Netlify, the company that hosts our website. Your details are stored in our Netlify account. If we later move our list to an email service, we will only move it to send you the emails you signed up for.
How we use it
- We use your email only to send Aldea Press updates: new books, free puzzles and news from the village, about twice a month.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Ever.
- We do not share it with anyone else, except the service providers that store it or send our emails for us.
Your choices
- Every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
- You can also email us at any time to see, correct or delete what we have about you.
Buying our books
Our books are sold on Amazon. When you follow a "Find it on Amazon" button, you leave our site, and Amazon's own privacy policy applies there.
Children
Our newsletter is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
